When will I get my Auction Catalog?
Auction catalogs should come home the week of April 26.
How do I bid on items?
When you check in at the auction, you will receive a set of bidder stickers with your personal bid number on them. Each auction item will
have a bid sheet with pre-marked bid amounts. Simply place your sticker next to the amount you would like to bid.
What is a close-out?
Some items have a specified close-out price. If you would like to purchase an item for the close-out price, place your sticker in the close-
out box. This guarantees your purchase and closes the bidding for the item.
What are subscription-based items?
Subscription items are purchased at a fixed price. Bidders pay a specified amount for an item rather than having the item go to the highest
bidder. There will be several parties available this year as fixed price items. They will be noted in the catalog or look for them at the
“Parties” table on auction night.
How will I purchase drinks at the auction?
Give the bartender your sticker, and the drinks will be on your tab.
What is a syndicate?
A syndicate is a group of bidders who agree to divide the winning bid between them. If your group wins, your share of the winning bid will
appear on your invoice. The lead bidder is responsible for assuring that all participants agree to the purchase price for that item before
placing a bid.
When do I need to turn in my Syndicate Bid forms?
You may turn in completed Syndicate Bid forms to the WSF office any time prior to the auction. All Syndicate bid forms are due at the close
of the auction. Syndicate Bid forms are available in the WSF office and school office. There is also a Syndicate Bid form at the back of your
Auction Catalog.
How do I know what I won? When can I pick up my winning items?
Check with the concierge. Winning items should be taken home that night upon confirming with the concierge.
What if my item is really big and I can’t take it home that night?
Please come to the school and pick up any large items on the Sunday after the auction between 9am and 1pm.
When will I get my invoice?
Invoices will be emailed by Monday after the auction. Your invoice will include all items purchased and list members of any winning
syndicate bids of which you were a member. Also included with your invoice will be your winning certificates for other items won.
What if there is an error on my invoice?
Please check your invoice carefully as soon as it arrives. If you see an error, contact the WSF office at wsf@woodsideschoolfoundation.org
ASAP. We will be accepting corrections up until Wednesday May 18.
When do bidders need to pay?
Final payment for all auction purchases is due June 1. After June 1, credit cards used to purchase tickets will be charged for all
outstanding balances.
